Frequently Asked Questions
How do I monitor the effectiveness of my ad?
For ads served by ClickHere2 Network, each advertiser is given password-protected access to Real-Time
advertising statistics, including how many impressions were served, how many
click-through were achieved, and what
clickthrough rate was achieved.
How do I know that these statistics are accurate?
All statistics are in real time. An easy way to check for accuracy is to reload a page on which your banner is
displayed, then reload your reporting page and watch the statistics update themselves.
How long does it take to get my ad up and running?
Typically, ads are up and running within two business days of placing your order.
What Clickthrough Rate can I expect for my ad?
The industry standard is anywhere from 0.25% to 2%, for sites like CNN, ZD Net and
Yahoo. Your actual clickthrough rate will depend on the appearance of your ad, and what it
offers in terms of a marketing message and call to action.
What benefit is there to me when my ad is displayed but does NOT produce a clickthrough?
Just like running a television commercial during prime time, or placing a full page ad in "Time" magazine
doesn't necessarily cause people to pick up the phone and order a product at that very moment. Specifically, these types of ads
build name recognition for your company and establish you as a major force in the industry. Then, when consumers are ready to buy, your company will come to
mind.
Why do some ad banners appear more often than others?
Since the amount of available ad space is limited, savvy advertisers opt to "lock in" their ads by purchasing more
impressions. This makes their ad appear more often, and builds stronger and faster name recognition.
